Bought this to use with a hammock but ended up using it with my 1A during a rainy weekend.

Loved that I could keep the main door open with the A-frame set up there to block the rain as it was a humid 78 but it was both dry and cool with a the breeze coming through.

So light, so simple to use and kept my A1 dry after 9hrs of rain. This is gonna stay in my pack going forward.

This is a great piece of kit to tag along with my Trekker 1A tent. I can use them both, or one or the other, depending on the environment. This is very light and easily packed for hiking. Now, I’m off to purchasing River Country’s poncho. Really like the quality and design of their products!

Purchased this hammock rain fly in case of a storm while elk hunting in Wyoming. The thing worked awesome when we got caught in a downpour kept us dry until the storm cleared.

Excellent quality and material used to produce a great multi use tent/tarp. Thank River Country for producing great gear at a affordable price

  5. Judy B

This is a great tarp. Strong and durable. The price was right. It was waterproof which was great. The seller sent this right away. The description was very well done and it comes with directions for different uses. I like the River Country Products. They have more than I thought. Seems like a great company and a place to purchase products.
The shipping was fast as well.

Just received my River Country Products hammock rain fly today. I love the size and weight, will be perfect addition to my gear. It’s multi use. As a camp tarp over gear, additional protection over tent for cooking etc, over hammock and even as a tent itself Even though I haven’t used it yet I know it will perform well, much like the 2 person tent that I bought a couple of years ago. Oh and it was on sale and shipping was super fast!!

Exceptional quality at the right price point! I waited to post a review until I tried out the tarp a few times in the rain. It is great! Order this and you won’t go wrong!

Bought this along with the Trekker Combo, so now the bike and gear stay dry too…..or it gives some dry space before entering the tent.

    Great product, great price.

I was searching for an inexpensive tarp for a hammock I already own. For less money than a rain fly I purchased this with hammock, rain fly, bug net and straps. I set this up in the basement and seems to be very good quality for the price. I would definitely buy again

    Good quality, good value

  11. ROBIN SHUGARTS

Used this hammock on a two week trip hiking the Appalachian Trail. It rained twice and the rain fly kept me dry, the bug netting was very helpful to keep the mosquitoes away and the little pockets were perfect for being able to find things in the dark. Would definitely recommend this product!

Great tarp that is designed to be set up in multiple ways quickly and easily. The quality of the stitching tells me that this tarp will actually last unlike the previous one I had from a different company.

Exceptional quality at the right price point. Bought three for myself and my two oldest kids to use on scout outings. My daughter has used hers 4 nights in a row now, will probably never get her in a tent again.

Good quality, seems durable, set up seems fairly intuitive. Great value for the money!

Good quality for the money. Only used it twice so far but feel like I got my money’s worth.

I bought this to use with my 10 foot hammock that has a ridgeline set at 8 foot 6 inches for optimal sag. That being said this tarp works great set up on the diagonal for a night where you do not have much wind and rain etc. However the only downfall I see is that pitching this tarp in an A frame configuration does not cover the ends of my hammock well if its raining when set up with the loops provided for 8 feet of length. The tarp can be set up with the 9 foot side being length ways which will cover the ends of my hammock but takes a little sewing of some custom loops onto it to tension the tarp onto the ridgeline or else the tarp will want to slide to the middle due to sag of the ridgeline. The only recommendations I would have for River Country Products is to maybe add some tie out loops on the 9 foot length of the tarp and guy out points on both sides to tension the middle of the tarp out to give the interior a little more room and will not flap around with wind gusts. Other than that this is a fantastic tarp for backpacking, kayak camping etc. I’ve taken mine on one backpacking trip so far and it held up to rain and moderate wind gusts. I am highly impressed at the quality of the tarp and the price at which its offered, I would recommend this product to someone who is a hammock camper or ground dweller needing a budget friendly lightweight tarp for 3 season use.

I got this rain fly because I was expecting rain on my trip, but luckily didn’t see any! I still put this to use. If I was going to haul it around I better use it! I used it one day as a big footprint so my tent and my buddies could fit on it. Two other nights I used it to cover my hammock so I could hammock tent. Buying this item really came in handy. The price and the material is just too good to past up.

Very great setup, the hammock and fly guard is made of great material the tarp is very durable and the steaks and equipment provided are of great quality very light material. Can not beat the product for the price. Must buy.
